Bring on the Digital!

    Well I've finally started to churn out digital works as apart of my course. Downfall is there's only about 5 weeks to go. No rest I tell you.

    Either way this is done in a new program I didn't know about: ArtRage. Which I guess you call it a very close simulator for Traditional art mediums. Much like Painter but a lot more simplified and well dirt cheap to buy ^^

    Anyway I made this loosely following a tutorial. But ultimately I like the blended blur look compared to dabbed paint. Started out with the base colour and built it up from there. Starting to get the idea of building things up instead of trying to do it straight out. Yay for learning things.

    Could use alil more touching up here and there but oh well.

    If you like this that much you can download it at its full 1680x ..something size. And use it for a wallpaper if you're that insane.

oo I love artrage we had that on our college computers but I don't think anyone did anything quite this good with it!

I think this proves you most definitely CAN paint.

Yeah but I can only paint using a program to do it hehe Yet, I think it's helped me to understand "how" to paint too

Either way its going to be interesting when I have to use it for other things :)

Thats your problem. You need to get something like ArtRage or Corel Painter. Which are painting simulators ;)

Mind you I've seen people make these types of images in PS too. So *shrug*

Very nice! I saw a blog about ArtRage on Ask thought about getting it, but I'm not sure if I'd have to have a USB utility to make the art better. Seems to me that using my mouse just make me more frustrated.

Always love to build my pieces up..:D
