I am keeping up with most things. There's just some bits that slide and get left out of my time-management. I personally rather follow my goals. Yes I do have a few even though I don't believe in the ultimate aspiration of being successful. Where does that lead? The way I see it if you become successful you lose the time for the little things that are just more worthwhile. So I rather just keep moving along doing my best and seeing where it takes me. Does that sound lazy? Doesn't make me any less passionate for the work I love to do it just gives balance for work and life.

And I said that to the teacher. "I'm just not here to be an artist. I'm here to learn what I can and use it for where I end up." Well saying something like that to an art teacher seemed like it was taken as an insult lol "Then why are you here, if you're not here to be an artist?!" Which is reasonable too. Its an art school, why else would someone be there if NOT to aspire to be an artist. I guess I can't really deny I will end up being a type of artist. So I better pick my words alil better next time hehe.

Just to make it clear, my interest is multimedia and motion art. So that basically covers everything animation, concept design for games/movies, 3d~digital artist. I mean come on media in art!

Otherwise University is great. I get an impression the drawing teachers have taken a liking to me. They seem rather eager to talk to me about EVERYTHING. Work, home, life, friends and dreams. Dreams was abit of shock which I kept to myself coz.. well my dreams aren't exactly work related, rather girl related. But I'm not telling you all about that either hehe. My friend Jase from TAFE last year said he wasn't surprised that I'm getting along well with everyone. I have that type of personality thats likable and my loyalty and devotion shows within that and the things I do.

Just quickly I'm single again, nothing disastrous happened.. Just rather for the best would sum it up. Couple of girls found out at University. I kinda get the impression theres a race on to get me first O_O lol Guess thats what happens when you're in a class of majority of girls you overhear things that you really shouldn't lol I mean I like the two girls that I know that are after me. One more than the other. Its just too entertaining for me ^_^

Have to apologize for not really being here lately and not showing as much as I was hoping. Sorry to the clubs for not having the time or energy left that the end of the day to maintain you. Sounds wrong. But holidays in a few weeks. So I'll be able to sort everything out

Well its now April so its been 4 months of Uni. Wait no... Didn't start until mid February so it's 3..

Regardless the first 6 weeks are finally over. So no more bloody Painting So glad that on the last day I walked up to the teacher and said.

"I'm leaving!"
O_o "Leaving???"
"Yes leaving! I'm finished and everything is set up ready for marking. So yup I'm off."
"But you're not leaving... 'Leaving'? (dropping out of the course)"
O_o "Uh, no just finished paint...ing"

I get this odd feeling no one gets me here... Not sure how though... Mind you they said I'm allowed to visit the painting area anytime. I said pfft No.. I ain't coming back

In all fairness I also thanked for the experience and I did show improvement. Some but not a great deal. I understand the whole blending and building layers. But actually getting it to work is something else. Must need to be mastered or more effort required. I didn't find it easy lol

Last week was a special week. We had a special workshop on making Stamps... Not ink stamps but post-stamps. Must admit I never took much thought into the artwork that is on them. So it was a nice investigation into exploring how it all worked. Same with learning about Fluxus and what they did was very cool. I don't really see the connection to my aspirations but I enjoyed it.

Apparently I'm a work-a-holic because I did several designs and nutting out ideas... Isn't that what I was meant to do? I am in University right? Last time I checked I was in a higher educational facility to learn and further my skills. So it would make sense I put effort and thought into what I was doing... Right?

The final day of the workshop there was a panic. Because everyone who had been slacking found everything was being marked and there was a presentation. So HA my work paid off lol Would of been better if I wasn't so nervous with the presentation

Next 6 weeks its all Drawing and Digital. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS *breathe* SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Otherwise things are generally okay. Well more than okay... Pretty excited actually. Well maybe it's because I'm in love

I'm partnered with my long time best friend Meghann. Whom I've trusted, loved and respected dearly for a very long time. She's always been there over the years and I know I've been just as important to her. For us getting together is the best thing that's ever happened. I guess that's what happens. You end up falling in love with your best friend. Why not? They are the person who understands you best and is already close to you. I couldn't be happier neither can she. Well she currently lives in the USA. So I'll be bursting at the seems of my cheeks happier when she's next to me.

I'm thinking about changing this journal style too. Because the long column down the side is starting to bug me hehe and its a bit fat too. Downfall is people at University have found out I have a diploma in multimedia and are starting to ask web questions. ugh... -_- But teacher says its a chance for me to make money on the side. So car-CHING! He has the point.
